I’m Ms. Melissa! I have been working with children, in one way or another, since I was in high school (that was a long time ago!!) I became the Director/Administrator of Gingerbread in September 2022. I am married and live in Watertown. I have 6 children and 2 dogs.

FUN FACT: I went to Gingerbread when I was 4 years old and all of my children graduated from Gingerbread also!!

I’m Ms. Jo! I have been working at Gingerbread since September 2022. I have been working with children in both large center settings (like Gingerbread) as well as in home / one on one settings for the last 5 years. When I am not at Gingerbread I love traveling and going to concerts!

FUN FACT: I have a fish named Swim Shady!

Infant Teacher

I’m Ms. Holly! I started working at Gingerbread in September of 2023 but I have been working with kids in many different settings for over 20 years! I have 2 daughters, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. When I am not at Gingerbread I enjoy hanging out with my family, being in nature, and playing with my dogs!

I’m Ms. Jessi, I have been working in childcare for 10 years. I have worked in center settings as well as nannying for two little boys. I received my Associates degree in Administrative Business from Madison College in 2014. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with family and friends.

One Year Old Teacher

I’m Ms. Amal! I started working at Gingerbread in November of 2023. I have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. Outside of work I love gardening and spending time with my family.

FUN FACT: I can speak 2 languages!

I’m Ms. Sammie. I have been working at Gingerbread since August of 2024 but have been working with kids for about ten years in different settings. I also have two boys of my own. When I am not at Gingerbread I enjoy spending time with my family and going on trips.

Four Year Old Teacher

I’m Ms. Sophie! I have been working with kids only for a short time now, but have many years of experience in health care. I am currently attending UWSP, and majoring in Special Education. When I am not at Gingerbread I love to play tennis and sing! Fun Fact: I graduated from Gingerbread! I can also wiggle my ears :)

Lead Teacher

Hi, I'm Ms. Heather! I have been working at Gingerbread since October 2024. I have worked in the childcare field in one way or another since I was a teenager and have experience being a private nanny, having my own in-home daycare and working in traditional childcare settings. I am the Mom of three boys (14, 10 and 6) - the youngest of which attends Gingerbread! We also have a pet hamster and fish :) In my free time I enjoy fishing with my kids, taking nature walks, going to the beach and crocheting. Fun fact : I was born and raised in Milwaukee!

3K Teacher

I’m Mr. Tony! I’m from Waterloo, Wisconsin where I graduated high school and later graduated from Madison College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have teaching experience working at Little Bears Child Care and Mary Linsmeiers Schools and am very excited to continue teaching here at Gingerbread! In my free time I like to watch movies, lift weights and spend time with family and friends.

4K Teacher

I’m Ms. Jen! I’m the 4K teacher here at Gingerbread. I graduated from Marian University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I have 12 years of teaching experience, including 9 years teaching 4K, 1 year teaching 3K, and 2 years teaching kindergarten. My husband and I have a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 2nd grade. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being outside, crafting, reading, and spending time with my family.

I’m Ms. Leah! I started working in childcare shortly after I graduated in 2021, and started here at Gingerbread in August of 2023. In my free time I like to draw and hang out with family and friends!

FUN FACT: I used to write short stories!

I’m Mr. Logan! I started working at Gingerbread June 2024 and I’ve loved working here since. When I’m not working I’m either playing tennis or lifting to stay active, out with friends, or playing games.

I'm Mr. Cooper! I've been working at Gingerbread since June 2024 and it is my first job. I'm a Junior at Watertown High School, and when I'm not working, I like to play tennis, play piano, and hang out with my friends and family.

Hi, I’m Miss Nadia! I began working at Gingerbread in June of 2024, but because of my seven siblings, I’ve been around kids my entire life. My favorite thing about working at Gingerbread is the positive atmosphere. When I’m not here, I enjoy hiking and collecting records. Fun fact: I have a pet snake!

Hi! I'm proud to be your "Cleaner Helper", along with my daughter, Jamie. I enjoy seeing all the neat crafts the students make - and it sure looks like they have fun making them. I've been in Animal Rescue for many decades. I am on the board and have been "Official Dishwasher" at Loaves & Fishes for 13 years now!. Gingerbread is a GREAT place to work!
